We’re delighted to share some exciting news - our Home Visit Pet Care family is growing!
This week, we’re thrilled to welcome Toni to our Wigan branch. Toni is a brilliant and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), who is joining us to support our growing number of pets and pet owners across the area. Many of you will meet her soon, as she’ll be joining Louise on home visits as part of her first-week buddying.
Toni brings not only clinical expertise but also a truly kind-hearted approach to veterinary care. With a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their people, she is passionate about making veterinary visits as calm and stress-free as possible - for animals and owners alike.
But what makes Toni’s arrival even more special is her additional training as a grief coach specialising in pet loss. This is an area of care that is often overlooked, and we’re incredibly proud to have someone on our team who can offer such meaningful support. Whether it’s helping someone navigate the difficult goodbye of a beloved companion or offering a comforting presence in those emotional moments, Toni is someone who truly understands what pet families are going through.
In her own words:
“I have a passion for animals and understanding the depth of the relationship between animals and their owners. That’s what led me to train as a grief coach, specialising in pet loss - so I can support people through those difficult times. I strive to be an advocate for animals, helping them live healthy, happy lives, and giving them the love, care, and affection they deserve.”
Over the coming weeks, Toni will start to take on nurse appointments independently and support our vet team across a range of visits. Whether it’s nail clips, wellness checks, or just a reassuring presence during a consult, you’ll be in safe hands.
We’re beyond excited to have her with us, and we know our clients (and their pets!) are going to love her just as much as we already do.
