Welcome Fran, Our New Veterinary Surgeon!

We’re delighted to welcome Fran Kingston, Veterinary Surgeon, to the Home Visit Pet Care Wigan team.

Fran joins us as a permanent member of our veterinary team and will be working across both our home visit service and our Wigan clinic, helping us provide even more appointment availability for pets and their owners across the local area.

Growing our veterinary team

Home Visit Pet Care started with a simple idea: veterinary care doesn’t always need to mean a stressful trip to a traditional practice.

For many pets, particularly those who are nervous, elderly, unwell or struggle with travel, being examined in their own home can make a huge difference. Home visits can also be invaluable for owners who have mobility difficulties, transport problems or simply prefer the convenience and more personal experience of having their veterinary team come to them.

As the Wigan practice has continued to grow, so has our team.

Fran joining us means we can continue expanding the veterinary services available to our clients while maintaining the relaxed, personal approach that Home Visit Pet Care was built around.

Veterinary care at home and in our Wigan clinic

Fran will be seeing patients for a wide range of veterinary appointments, from preventative healthcare and routine consultations through to investigating pets who are poorly and providing ongoing treatment and care.

She will also be working from our Wigan clinic, giving our clients the flexibility to choose between veterinary care at home or at the practice, depending on what works best for them and their pet.

Having another permanent vet in the team also gives us greater continuity for ongoing cases and more capacity as our client base continues to grow.
