Home Visit Pet Care Opens in Alness & the Highlands

Featured

We are delighted to announce that Home Visit Pet Care Alness & Highlands officially opened on 1st July 2026, bringing our calm, compassionate home visit veterinary service to pet owners across Alness, Ross-shire and the surrounding Highland communities.

Home Visit Pet Care began with a simple idea: veterinary care should feel easier, kinder and more personal for the pets and owners who need it most. What started as one nurse-owned mobile practice has grown into a model built around convenience, compassion and local care. The opening of our Alness & Highlands branch is a huge milestone in that story, taking the same trusted home visit approach into a new region for the very first time.

The Alness branch is led by Hayley Blakemore RVN, an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who understands how stressful traditional practice visits can be for some pets and owners. Whether it is a nervous dog, an elderly cat, a multi-pet household, or an owner who finds travelling difficult, Hayley’s focus is on making pet care feel calmer, more accessible and more supportive. By visiting pets in their own homes, appointments can feel less rushed, less overwhelming and more tailored to the individual pet.

Home Visit Pet Care Alness & Highlands will offer a range of home visit services, with nurse-led care from Hayley and veterinary support available for appointments that require a vet. The branch will serve Alness and surrounding Highland areas, helping local owners access professional pet care without the stress of unnecessary travel.

This is also an exciting moment for the wider Home Visit Pet Care network. Alness is our second branch, but it certainly will not be the last. We have two more branch openings to announce very soon, as more talented veterinary nurses prepare to bring Home Visit Pet Care to their own local communities.
