Welcome to the Wigan Team, Melissa!

There’s a new face in our purple scrubs! We’re delighted to welcome Melissa, an experienced registered veterinary nurse, to the Home Visit Pet Care Wigan team.

Melissa joined us on 8 September 2026 and has already been out on the road visiting clients and their pets, as well as working in our Wigan clinic. She brings a wealth of veterinary nursing experience, and we feel very lucky to have her on board.

Whether you see us at home or in the clinic, we want you to feel comfortable with the people caring for your pet. We’re looking forward to introducing more of you to Melissa as she gets to know our clients, their pets and all the little things that make this job special.

Of course, some of those things are a little unexpected. On just her second day, Melissa found herself helping our vet Ivana work out how to open a manual gate at a railway crossing!

We’re fairly sure that wasn’t in the job description. It’s definitely not your average veterinary job, but then our team aren’t average either!
